Sad News From Brookline Dek Hockey

Please consider donating to help with funeral costs for this family from the Brookline Dek Hockey Association. Even though we are rivals in the dek, we are one big hockey family. Prayers and condolences to the Morris family.

A message from our friends at Brookline Hockey:
As most of you know, Brookline’s Hockey League traveled to Gloucester NJ this past weekend to compete in a tournament. Unfortunately, one of our parents suffered a heart attack and passed at the hotel they had been staying at on Sunday morning. The family is now back home in Pittsburgh trying to figure out things. Our league is accepting donations for the family. Armond Morris left behind his wife Sarah, his boys Quinten (plays on the penguin team) and Xavier. He was new to the hockey family, due to his son Quinten’s love for the game. However he has been coaching youth football for many years here in Brookline and around Pittsburgh. His funeral arrangements will be released later today. If anyone would like to contribute, a donation can be made to the family using the leagues Paypal account. [email protected]. Please make a note that it is for the Morris family and if possible use the friends and family payment option. I will then take the donated money and give to the family. It made that rainy Sunday drive home, feel a lot longer than normal.
