Pittsburgh, Pa.---Jeff Johnstone was unanimously voted as Team Pittsburgh President beginning January 21, 2020. After years of playing hockey and refereeing, Johnstone began donating his time at Team Pittsburgh coaching his sons, refereeing, and landing continued support. The organization quickly realized his knowledge and dedication would be useful in a larger capacity.

Johnstone was once the Head of the Referees, took over the concession process, helped implement a new sales process, rewrote and restructured the referee guide incorporating the floating blue line, ran referee certifications, was a PACT representative, and served as Vice President for the last few years.

In that role he also helped ascertain hotel rooms for travel accommodations and implemented a first-ever scholarship program. He is a Certified Medicare Specialist, a USDHF certified training referee, certified inline official, and CCAC North campus Athletic Coordinator and non-credit Instructor
