The Team Pittsburgh in-house program has 30+ teams each session with age groups of boys and girls ranging from 4 - 19. There is a league for everyone. All of our officials are certified by the USA Ball Hockey Handbook. We have a fully stocked pro shop for all your hockey needs as well as a concession stand. We run 3 seasons per year, a Spring, Summer, and Fall. They run from March to December with no winter season. The seasons are made up of 12 regular season games and a single-elimination playoff.
Chipmunk division games are modified with the coaches on the dek. They are there in an effort to coach and teach our youngest players how to play the game. The clock stops every two minutes to have teams engage line changes.
In all divisions except Chipmunk, full time goalie registration fees are free at the time of registration. To have your registration honored for playing goalie, your child must play 10 out of the 12 regular season games.
Cost to sign up is $55 per season ($25 per chipmunk player) and a family of 3 or more, sign up is a maximum of $150.
Your child will play in the age group of their age on January 1st. They will play in that age group during all 3 seasons in that year. Girls get an extra year at each division. For example, the Chipmunk age group for girls is 4-7. See the rules and regulations section below to determine which division your child will sign up in based on USA Ball Hockey rules.
