Now that our county has moved into the “Green Phase” of Governor Wolf’s reopening plan, youth sports are permitted to resume. Our board has been hard at work getting the facility ready for dek hockey. We are putting several guidelines in place based on recommendations from the CDC and UPMC in regard to resuming youth sports safely.

With that said, our current plan is to play the spring in-house season over the remainder of the summer months. The tentative start date is Saturday, June 20th. This gives us time to prepare and put our new guidelines in place. We will be starting the process of reaching out to our in-house coaches, who will then be in contact with their teams within a week or so. We will also be posting a list of guidelines that will need to be followed at the facility along with the finalized game schedule. 

We know that everyone is ready to get back to hockey. We know that this will help bring a sense of normalcy back into our kid’s lives. No one is as ready as TEAM Pittsburgh to get the family back together again.  Thank you for being patient while we work to get back to playing hockey!
